Jai Sai

A devotee once asked SHRI SAI "are there any evil spirits ( ghosts )?" SHRI SAI said ," YES THRE ARE BUT THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE CARE OF DWARKAMAYI & LEADING PROPER LIVES HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR FROM THEM ." SHRI SAI also said that those who are HIS Bhaktas including their families are drawn to HIM at the time of their deth whereever they maybe. Once HE told MB Rege of his deceased child. "THE CHILD IS HERE ( pointing to HIS heart ) & HE SHALL LIVE HERE ETERNALLY ." On another occasion , SHRI SAI said ," THERE WAS A GIRL PLAYMATE OF MINE WHO WAS AN ARTIST.
SHE DIED & WAS BURIED. AS I WAS PASSING BY HER TOMB, I STOPPED & SPENT A NIGHT THERE. THEN HER SPIRIT ACCOMPANIED ME . I KEPT HER IN BABUL TREE & BROUGHT HER TO SHIRIDI ." The girl was evidently a playmate
of SAI in HIS earlier birth & due to her unfinished karma , her spirit however around her tomb . By bringing her soul to Shiridi , SAI gave her sadgati .
BOLO SHRI SAINATH KI JAI ...................!

Baba reading a book

Baba reading a book
This is a rare photo of Baba with a book in His hand. On Gurupurnima day numerous Bhaktas came to Baba and placed a book before Him. Hoping that He might return it with His blessings. So they could study it and benefit from it. Baba however, took a book from one devotee and gave it to another. This photo is from the First Edition of the Marathi Satcharitra. The text says Baba with Tukaram's Gatha in hand.

(Vasudev Sadhashiv Joshi of Sitharam Co. and his friend Chidambar Rao K. Gadre were devoted to Baba They went to Shirdi of an on. Once Joshi gave Rs. 10/- to his friend and asked him to give it to Baba as Dakshina. He also made another request and that was to take a photograph of Baba and bring it back with him. Gadre left with the Rs. 10/- and went to Dwarakamai prostrated before Baba and gave Him Joshi's Dakshina. He was silent, as he did not have the courage to request permission for the photograph. Baba too was silent for a long time. Then just before his departure Baba Himself asked Gadre to take His photograph. Baba told him that the photographs should not be sold for a profit. He then give him Udi and Prasad.)

All of us love to hear 'once upon a time' type of stories. They take us to our childhood.

Invisible Baba

Invisible Baba
This is a photograph of Baba along with His Bhaktas going to Lendi Bagh. A devotee wished to take a photo of Baba and sought permission. Baba refused but said "Take the photo of my feet only". The Bhakta nonetheless took the Photo of the whole procession. The Umbrella and Bhagoji Shinde and other Bhaktas are visible but in place of Baba is the luminous light only His feet are visible.

Handis Baba used for cooking
1910 Baba's 'Handi' business (cooking food Himself in a big pot and distributing to devotees and poor people.) continued till this year. After wards due to Das Ganu's keertans, Baba's fame spread far and wide and devotees coming in large numbers offered large quantities of food as 'naivadya' and thus there was no need of 'Handi.
