Have
you ever heard the saying 'your attitude determines your altitude'?
It's a phrase that originated from flying. The attitude or orientation
of the plane relative to the ground literally determines
how high the plane can fly.
In
the same way, successful people past and present have discovered that
the orientation of our minds determine how high we can fly.
A
positive attitude is one of the biggest assets that you can cultivate
in yourself, and it's free. Your attitude is reflected in the questions
you ask yourself.
Some
powerful questions you can ask yourself are 'what can I learn from
this?', 'what can I do better next time?', and 'what good came out of
this?'. Practice asking yourself good questions and
you will get good answers.
A
great attitude is something that every person can choose to have, no
matter what their background is and what their present abilities are.
With all other things being equal, attitude is the
winning factor.
Even
with all other things not being equal, sometimes attitude still is the
winning factor. That's the power of a positive attitude.
In
life, you tend to get what you direct the majority of your focus on. If
you're always looking for the good in things, you'll end up getting the
good that you are focusing on. When you're always
looking for the bad in things, you'll also end up getting the bad that
you are focusing on.
It is really about the way you perceive reality and not the way things 'really' are.
