Sai did deepotsava many times.The grocers were tiered of giving oil gratis.One day the grocers decided to refuse him as a body and they lied to Sai that they had no oil.Baba was surprised that the grocers found it so easy to tell him lie. People tell lies,degrade themselves and move away from the Narayan (Lord ),falling eventually under the weight of their own karma.A liar is among the worst sinners. He never attains Lord.One who always tells the truth attains the Lord.Even penance and 'japa' can't match it.Truth is the mountain of good deeds.It is the path to salvation.It is the river of bliss.One should stick to the truth.
