A rich old man of Harda (MP) visited to Shiridi in 1914 accompanied by a group of ladies Being all women , they were hesitate to approach SHRI SAI directly for UDI for curing the old gentleman, They requested Shri GG Narke , then present, to request SAI on their behalf . When Narke went to SHRI SAI , the latter said " THE OLD MAN WOULD BE BETTER QUITTING THE EARTH , WHAT CAN THE UDI DO ? ANYHOW TAKE IT AS IT IS WANTED ."Though Narke took the udi to the old man , Yet he died the morningafter disappointing the women who felt SHRI SAI let them down.At the outset , its to be noted that the 1st statement of SAI was " THE MAN WOULD BETTER QUITTING THE EARTH ."This statement clearly proves that SAI was unwilling to intervene in this matter. The udi given was only a conslation.The very 1st utterence of SAI is to be noted. Whom to help & whom not,
lies with SAINATH ! HE only knows what is best for us .
