In 1927 Shri Dattatreya Rasane , eldest son of Damuanna Rasnane (CH 6& 25 SSS ) suffered very much in health & spirits & went up to the temple of Sitaram Uttareswar ( LORD SIVA ) to miles of junnar ( 40 miles from pune ) & worshiped SIVA's image & while offering flowers , saw a light at the SIVA LINGA to whom he bowed & to his surprise ,he saw in that light SHRI SAINATH seeing which his health & spirits improved . A saint Janaki Das was living there & when Shri Rasane bowed to Him the latter stopped him saying " U have resorted to a great saint like SHRI SAI , why do you come to me ? people like me seize the feet of SAI ". In a similar case a devotee who visited Narayan Maharaj of Khedgaonbet was told by Him , " Why do you come to me ? yours is a supreme guru . He is of a higher rank than Me .Why have you come here ? your choice of a Guru is execellent . Go to HIM & YOU WILL ACHIEVE YOUR PURPOSE ".

Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
