Jai Sai

Before coming into contact of SHRI SAI, BV Narasimha Swamiji visited Pandharpur in 1930. He was advised by a sadhu to meet a woman saint named Bapumai who wore an old loin cloth which she would not change for months together , carried three small sticks which she said were three gunas SATTVA , RAJAS, TAMAS.She also said she was beyond all three. She asked people for one paise and at the end of the day would throw whatever she had collected into the river Chandrabhaga saying," Mother Chandrabhaga , keep all this money safe for me ." Narasimha Swamiji was also told by Bapumai that she resided at the cremation grounds where both went.Feelinghungry there, Narasimha Swamiji was surprised to see a person bringing a plate ful of dal, rice, chappatis and sweets which satisfied Swamiji's hunger. Rather surprised as to how a person could come to the cremation grounds with food, Bapumain said He was LORD VITTAL HIMSELF .
