During SHRI SAI's wandering in HIS early days. HE is said to have visited SHRI MANIK PRABHU of Humanabad (1817-1865 AD) who is considered to be a DATTA AVATAR in the DATTA Sampradaya . Historians give us an account of SHRI SAI's 1st meeting with PRABHUJI from His biography. Once MANIK PRABHU was sitting in darbar when a fakir came before Him & extended HIS lota (Vessel ) said ," PRABHUJI FILL THIS CUP." At the time , MANIK PRABHIU asked His brother Tatya Saheb to fill up the Lota but it would not fill up no matter how much money he would put in . MANIK PRABHU realised the power of the Fakir & who HE was ( with HIS divine vision ) & Himself then put two dry dates & flowers in the lota & said smilingly , " SAI take it." Miraculously , the lota filled up but the fakir took only the dry dates & flowers saying ," THIS MUCH IS ENOUGH FOR ME " & turning the vessel upside down , emptied it & left the place .
