SHRI SAI once told a story about how many people came to take HIS money & HE never resisted them in doing so.HE only noted their names & followed them . When they got down for their meals, HE killed them & recovered HIS money. This story describes the attentive watching of the mental processes to quienten the mind & regaining of calm meditation. One pointedness of the mind, dispassion, control of the senses , etc...Are the wealth. Desires born of various modes like rajas & tamas , are the thieves. One another story by SAI though in fact a reality says ," THE GOVERNER WISHES TO PIERCE DADASAHEB (Khaparde)WITH A LANCE BUT I (SAI) WOULD NOT PERMIT IT." Meaning Shri Khaparde was already issued an arrest warrant by the then British India Govt & frantic efforts were on to locate him. SHRI SAI knowing this thru HIS devine powers, detained Khaparde at Shiridi a place which could be least suspected of sheltering fugitives.

Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
