How could we correctly interpret what SHRI SAI preached about Annadan (poor feeding)? HE clearly told Nana Chandorkar to take a platter of food & leave it outside and whoever comes & eat it be it a human being, animal, bird,insect , the merit of annadan is earned. Today in most SAI temples, annadan seva is performed . Are those who stand in queue really hungry ? Not at all ,rather they are mostly overfed. Then, does it mean that we should stop annadan ? Ofcourse NOT, annadan must continue as because in the queue of beggars, there are always maybe just one or two or a little more who are really Hungry and that they have been sent by LORD SAI to eat and satiate their hunger. The merit thus earned by feeding these special guests of SHRI SAI carries 100% value. So despite the disorderly conduct that we witness in every annadan, it has at least one genuinely hungry person sent by SAI but whom we cannot recognise.

Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
