Shri H.V Sathe who served SHRI SAI devotedly, earned the admiration of many but was also much envied by a few one of them being Nanavali . Things had come to such a pass that one day Nanavali creeped up behind Sathe witha piece of glass & could have hit him on the head but Sathe turned back & holding Nanavali's wrist disarmed him & knocked him down . SHRI SAI intervened to prevent the situation from goinf out of cotrol. Sathe felt he could no longer stay in Shiridi with Nanavali's mischief growing by the day . One night in 1916,Sathe quietly left Shiridi without SAI's permission never to return again. Devotees may ask why SAI could not or did not
punish Nanavali . To Sai both Nanavali & Sathe are HIS beloved devotees. Sai felt Sathe was not needed in Shiridi any longer and so kept HIMSELF aloof from what happened. However SAI was taking full care of Sathe even at Pune. SAI knows what is best for us.

Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
