JAI SAI

Shri R, Subramaniam of Chennai went on a tour with a group of friends to Nepal on 13.03.86 and on their return back to India the group memberes ( excl Subramaniam) did extensive shopping in Nepal. The Customs officer at Bhairava was lenient and allowed the purchased articles to pass thecheck post. The trouble began at Sownali in Gorakhpur (UP) where the Customer imposed a hefty dutyof Rs 4000 /- having no spare cash with them, Subramaniam and his team were afraid that the goods would be conflicted should they fail to pay up. Praying to SHRI SAI Subramaniam met the Customs officer who by SAI grace reduced the duty to Rs 1000 but even then all they could pay was just Rs 500. Now what ? Subramaniam was in a fix and was wondering where to get the balance when a gentleman who said he was at Customs and even claimed to have seen Subramaniam at Shiridi gave Rs 500 to him saying he owed the latter the money. Wow !

JAI SAINATH...................!
