RINANUBANDHA : Part 23 : Damodar Sawalram Rassane ( CH 6 25 , SSS) Damu Anna Rasane's rinanubandha with SHRI SAI began with his 1st visit to Shirid in 1895. At that time Damu Anna had no issue and he prayed to SHRI SAI personally for granting his desire. SHRI SAI gave him 4 mango fruits to be given to his junior wife, who on eating them, gave birth to 2 sons and daughters. WhenRamnavami celebrations began in Shiridi from 1896. Damu Anna provided one ornamented flag for the occasion and another flag was provided by Nana Nimonkar and ever since then and even today the descendants of both do the same. Damu Anna's mind always dwelt on SHRI SAI and even after the latter's Mahasamadhi, he had often seen HIM visibly. Such was Damu Anna's faith in SHRI SAI that HE consulted HIM on many isssues and the results were always excelent. CH 25 of SSS gives us an account of his experiences. Damu Anna passed away on JAN 21. 1941.
