RINANUBANDHA : Part 22 : Abdul Baba : The Rinanubandha of Abdul with SHRI SAI unfolded on the banks of the river Tapti at Nandeb ( MR) in 1889. Fakir Amiruddin who resided there sent beloved devotee Abdul to Shiridi with two mangoes under instructions from SHRI SAI in a dream to the Fakir. The delivery of the mangoes was just cause to pull Abdul to Shiridi. SHRI SAI, on seeing Abdul happily welcomed him saying ," MY CROW HAS COME ." Abdul thereafter lived in Shiridi and never went back to Nandeb. SHRI SAI directed him ( Abdul ) to devote himself entirely at HIS service. Abdul's daily task was to sweep the lanes of Shiridi and replenish the oil of 5 perpetual lamps at Lendi, Masjid & Chavadi. During SHRI SAI's daily visit to the Lendi, only Abdul accompanied HIM. such was his privilege. Sitting in the Masjid near SAI . Abdul would read the Koran daily. This beloved crow of SAI passed away on 2.04.1954 aged 85.
