Sri Sai severely admonished
devotees who indulged in reviling behind others back as discussed in chapter 19
of Sai Sathcharita. Sri Sai howled Mathuradas who indulged in scandal at Sagun
Meru Naiks teashop in Shirdi. Baba's message was clear when He said the good,
bad, alike come here why draw their frailties and foibles to public notice by
depicting them. We all have our drawbacks imperfect that we are; by taking
recourse to a Divine perfect master Sri Sai, He does not wipe out our
imperfections in a trice. It takes time while at the same time Sai protects the
devotee’s integrity not minding his weakness the process of our inner cleaning
by Sai is slow and steady. It may at times take few births for this; all the same,
Sai is particular in monitoring our soul’s birth after birth.
Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
