Baba would know all that is happening in Sathe’s residence and used to stop him
from taking any wrong step. Once, Sathe’s father in law bought about 20 acres of land for Rs. 1200. When Sathe was in
Shirdi, he wanted to have a look at it. Having called for Tatya kote’s bullock
cart, he asked his wife to accompany him and when she was hesitant to go, Sathe
took the whip out of the cart man’s hand and was about to whip her when Megha
came running towards them asking Sathe to accompany him as Baba wanted him.
Baba tackled him and said ‘your land is where it is. Where is the need to visit
it?’ Ashamed at his behaviour and Baba’s ubiquitous glance on him he prostrated
and went home changed.
