Once Damu Anna invited Baba for a meal but aware that Baba would not come personally he requested Baba to send Bala Nevaskar Patil on His behalf. Baba agreed taking assurance that Bala would not be looked down upon due to his low caste. Damu Anna prepared sumptuous meal filled one plate with various items of food offered to the picture of Baba and called Bala in. At that point a black dog walked in and ate from the plate offered to Baba. Damu Anna waited for it to finish its meal and later all proceeded to eat. How divine is the commitment of Damu Anna and how privileged were his eyes to see Baba in all forms.
