Bhau Maharakj Kumbhar no one knew from
where he came but his rinanubandh with Baba was very strong. Baba pulled
Bhau in the year 1916 to Shirdi. Being desire less he was a true
karmayogi. He never asked any material benefit from any one and if any
gave him any material he would distribute it instantly. If offered
clothes he would cover the animals birds trees to protect them from the
harsh weather like cold, heat and rain. If given money he would
distribute immediately. He used a donated bed sheet as a broom and
cleaned the roads of shirdi every day without fail he slept under trees
and his generosity knew no bounds he saw Baba in animals, birds, plants
and living beings. He was mostly immersed in himself and spoke very
little. He took Samadhi on 27th april 1938.
Ants stuck
his body and ate away all flesh which devotees believe it was a fiesta
by Bhau Maharaj after his death to the ants. His samadhi is at lendi
baug.
