Sainath is a mother who sometimes does not
get angry on our actions but bears it just like a mother whose love makes her
over look our mistakes. Shri
Raghuvir Purandhare was a devotee of Shri Sainath who though often manhandled by
Sai was yet not shaken a bit and continued to be as steadfast a devotee.
There are rumours examples to prove this
when Purandhare was decorating Sai’s palki (palanquin) Shri Sainath removed all
what Purandhere did and yet the latter just kept on doing his work undeterred.
Scolding and beating were routine on part of Sai. A true bhakta (devotee) that
he was, purandhare bore all this and finally Sai’s heart melted allowing him to
complete the palki work undisturbed. Shri Sainath explained this as “what can
be done? If our child passes stool on our thigh, should we cut it? No! We have
to put up with it” this is referring to purandhares obstinacy in the work of
the palki. He was one devotee who despite
earning meagre sum of money as a clerk was ordered by Sai to build a house of
his own. Purandhare hesitated and even delayed but Sai was after him and his
house was built.
