Shri Sainth guided the devotees to attain Sadgati

There have been times when Shri Sainth guided the devotees to attain Sadgati (Salvation). A few months before Megha passed away in Shirdi our beloved Sainath desired that His dear child Megha perform the Gayatri Jaap for his salvation. Megha however had no knowledge about Mother Gayatri let alone the Gayatri Mantara or Jaap. On being told by Sai to perform the Jaap Megha consulted Dixit who explained that 1,25,0000 times of Gayatri mantra be recited in 3 faces. Upon completion of which, the Puras Charan (completion) is to be performed by mass feeding. Having began the Japa in real earnest news came that Tatya Kote Patil’s father was critically ill and should he pass away either before or on 3^rd January 1912 the day of the Puras Charan ceremony all the efforts of Megha may go in vain. Sai intervened He delayed the death of  Tatya’s father by a few hours allowing Megha’s ceremony to be completed unhindered. Tatya’s father passed away in the evening of 3^rd January 1912 after the completion of Puras Charan.
