Abdulla Jan when interviewd by Shri Narasimha Swamiji on 5th Nov 1936 said that durin SHRI SAI NATH's life time, the crowd in the Dwarkamyi was so much that one could
hardly find any place to stand & in 1936 the Mosque was desolate & empty.He wondered
if the splendour of a divine personality like SHRI SAI could be so short lived. then what to
talk of a poor gnat like him (Abdullah Jan ).But, this very person retracted his statement in 1954 when the crowds in Shiridi swelled.Likewise,when Shri S.C Gupta of Green Park, New Delhi
(now aged 84+ ) visited Shiridi for the 1st time on Datta Jayanti in 1960 he attended the noon
arati at the Samadhi Mandir & there were then not more than 20/25 participant in it. Strange !
Well SHRI SAI moves slowly but surely & he being His own publicist.He is never hasty.
And now Lakhs & lakhs of devotees pour into Shiridi in sharp contrast to the past. Is it not ?
