Incarnation of LORD DATTATREYA each have always had different temperaments & ways of dealing with their devotees.Take for example,SWAMI SAMARTH of Akkalkote & SHRI SAINATH MAHARAJ of Shiridi .If we look at the portraits of these two DATTATREYA AVTARS we will observe the rather stern look of the former & a sober look of the latter.SWAMI SAMARTH of Akkalkote was a no-nonsense Divinity who had very stern ways of dealing with HIS devotees while SHRI SAI was as liberal as ever.Which is why devotees like Shama , Tatya ,took undue liberties with HIM.Which is not to say that SWAMI SAMARTH was always harsh,HIS grace was always there & the scale of both were equally balanced . The difference lies in the matter of tests by both. SWAMI SAMARTH imposed tough tests on HIS devotees whereas SHRI SAI never impose such difficult tests which makes HIM easily acceptable by devotees .

Every devotee tries to visualize How Baba looked like. They try to see how Dwarakamai, Chavadi looked like when Baba walked on the soil of Shirdi. Are we able to visit Baba back in his times when we visit Shirdi now?
