On MAHASHIVRATRI , we are reminded of Megha ( CH # 28,SSS ) who was SAI's pet child.
Megha who hailed from Viramgam, Gujrat worshipped SAI as an embodiment of LORD SHIVA. He had the great fortune of performing SHRI SAI's arati which he devotedly did daily standing on one foot. When Megha passed away on 19th jan 1912, SHRI SAI wept & wept saying " THIS WAS A TRUE DEVOTEE OF MINE". Let us not also forget that it was on Mahashivratri day that SHRI SAI produced streams of Ganga Yamuna water from HIS toes.When Daji Avasthi
of Pune visited Shiridi in 1913 for the first time, he had a momentary darshan of LORD SHIVA & KAILASH in place of SHRI SAI. Nanasaheb Rasane, beset with fortunes, visited SHIVA's temple near Junnur & in the SHIVA LINGA, he saw the form of SHRI SAI in a circular light that emanated from the LINGA which calmed his turbulent mind.
