Jai Sai

R. A. Tarkhad went to Shirdi to get away from the rough & tumble of his daily grind and to have mental peace. However, a gentleman at Sathewada asked Tarkhad the reason of his visit whereas another gentleman asked him, "Who is a Sthitaprajna (man of serene wisdom)?" Tarkhad was very upset that having come all the way to Shirdi, he was faced with a barrage of questions which he could not answer. Nonetheless, he still went to have SAI's darshan & as Tarkhad bowed at HIS feet, SAI placed HIS palm on his head & said to Shama,"WHY HAS HE (Tarkhad) COME HERE? ADVISE HIM."Whereupon Shama led Tarkhad away & asked him what the matter was. Tarkhad narrated all that took place since he came to Shirdi. Shama told him,"This is how SHRI SAI sends HIS message. Even in the midst of turmoil & anxiety, you should direct your mind constantly towards God." When both went to SHRI SAI, the latter said, "KEEP IN MIND WHAT SHAMA SAYS."
