HAS SHIRDI SAI REINCARNATED NOW?
There is no universally acceptable reply to this question. Some say 'Yes’, some say 'No’. I wish to suggest to devotees who believe in 'yes' and 'no' to continue to have unshakable faith in their firm conviction.
The captioned question was posed and answered by Sai Vyasa Narasimha Swamiji, who had done yeomen service to Sai bhakthas. He visited a good number of devotees houses who had physical darshan of Lord Sainath to ascertain first hand information on their contact with Sainath. The editorial of July 1944 issue of Sai Sudha enlightens us on this topic. Pujya Swamiji's matured views hold good even after a lapse of sixty years. Keeping in view Lord Sai's Golden Rules namely 'no controversy',' no discussion' and 'no insistence of one's view on other's', I venture to pen the following in Swamiji's language to the extent possible.
Swamiji starts this article with a quotation from St Mathew XXIV-23-28, where in Jesus Christ has warned "False Christs and false Prophets would arise and claiming to be Christ would even show wonders and signs ie., miracles but that the devotees should not believe these pretenders.” When the real Messiah re appears, he said, there would be no room for doubt. He further added when a lightning flashes across the sky, every one sees it and knows it is lightning. There is no need to get the services of an interpreter or an intermediary to explain the phenomenon. The world knows its Savior and rushes on to His feet as eagles gather round a carcass".
The above message of Jesus Christ confirms false claimants are there in all religions and at all times. Let us confine our discussion to Shirdi Sai's incarnation.
It is well known truth that those who are born are sure to die and those who are dead are sure to be re born. This general rule of Geeta does not apply to Parama Gnanis and Parama bhaktas. Sainath Prabhu falls under the exempted category. Sainath who had no ego declared "Main Allah Hum" "I receive nothing, I have done nothing". Hence He had no karmic vasanas to put Him to the earth once He left it. He is an "Aparantharatma" who may appear in flesh or disappear at will. He may reincarnate. The only question WHEN?.
Pujya Swamiji put forward the following facts for the probable reincarnation. Firstly, Souls left the body during Dakshinayana will reborn as per Gita. Baba left His mortal coil on 15.10.1918. Secondly, He Himself declared He would reincarnate. Thirdly, Baba told some devotee of Bombay He would take birth and be with him life after life. Fourthly, Baba told Nana Saheb Chandorkar "I will go away now I will take birth as the child of Bapu".
Fifthly, HS Dikshit confirmed that Baba confirmed He would appear as a lad of 8 years in time to come.
BUT HAS HE????
Pl await for Part 2 to be continued..............
