JAI SAI

Late Uddhabrao Deshpande, son of Shama was interviewed by Pro Dixit in Oct 1988.
Uddhabrao was then aged 81. Here are the extracts of the interview :
Q1) When did you see SHRI SAI ?
A1) Whe I was aged 11.
Q2) How did SAI look ?
A2) SAI was taller than me & fair. Long arms reaching upto HIS knee. After bath, SAI
would eat khichdi & sabudana with us.
Q3) Have you ever seen SAI bathing ?
A3) Yes , SHRI SAI always had a bath with hot water prepared by Madhu Fasle. A huge
brass tumbler filled with hot water was provided for SAI . The curtains used to be
drawn while SAI took HIS bath. Outside, a lady devotee Tarabai used to perform arati.
After bath , SAI looked so lustrous that it was a sight to see & enjoy.
Q4) What did SAI like the most ?
A4) SHRI SAI like Ratnagiri mangoes but HE ate little & distributed the rest after peeling them.
