Late Mrs.Seeta Vijaykumar, w/o of retd Medical Officer, Shri G.R Vijaykumar had a miraculous escape from a rogue elephant in Bandipur forest ( KARNATAKA) on 05..04.79 having then a 2nd son in the womb,her husband came to pick her up with her elder son & her mother from Mysore back to the estate (145 Km from Mysore) where he was working as a doctor. Halfway thru the journey, their car broke down in the middle of a dense forest. While the driver got down to repair the car, he and Vijayakumarji notice a solitary wild elephant grazing nearby. Sensing danger, they tried unsuccessfully to stop a passing vehicle. In this moment of peril, all prayed to SHRI SAI to save them when from no where a lorry appeared and stopped. The driver offered to drop the stranded family members and by the time they boarded the truck, the rogue elephant charged at them but the lorry just sped away. SAI's grace saved them all.
