Today being Ramdas Navami we Shri Sai
devotees remember it for a different reason and that is on this very day (Das
Navami) Thursday February 8th1915 a photograph of Shri Sai was sent
by Him to Sadu Bhaya Naik at Indore. A letter by Sai to Saddu Bhaiya was also
sent along with the saying ‘thru this photo I have come to your home without My
permission do not come to Shirdi again’.
Saddu Bhaya’s rinanuban with Shri Sai
pulled him to shirdi in about 1910. Shri Sai over ruled all family objections
to Saddu bhaiya’s frequent visit to Shirdi until 1915.
When Sai decided He Himself would reside at
his house at Indore in the form of His portrait. This portrait of Sai was
not cared for after Saddu bhaiya passed away in 1937. However, the ever-watchful
Sai appeared in his son Balasaheb’s dream and said ‘My feet are being eaten by
termites please save me’ and Balasaheb saved it in the nick of time.
