The wife of the elder brother of Haribhau Acharya of Ahmedabad (G) began to breathe heavily one morning in 1982 when a thick cough (phlegm) got stuck in her windpipe. Family memebers panicked, a doctor was immediately called. In the meantime, the father (senior Acharya aged 76) of the two brothers returned home from his meditation and Gyatri recitation at the river Sabarmati ( his regular routine for over 5 decades ) and learning what had happened, assured the family that no harm would befall his elder son's wife while he (senior Acharya ) was living. Being a staunch SAI devotee himself, the old man went straight to the puja room and standing before SAI's portrait, abused our Divine Father left and right and even volunteered to sacrifice his life for his ailling daughter in law. SAI listened and intervened, the lady vomited the cough out and was saved from death. Six month later , the senior Acharya passed away.
