Nana Chandorkar advised MB Rege to keep reserve money separately whenever he visits Shiridi as SHRI SAI's ways are most unpredictable. Nana himself always kept reserved cash at Kopergaon and sent for it when his funds dried up at Shiridi. Once SAI asked Nana for Rs 40 which the latter gave.

Again Nana was called by SAI and asked to pay Rs 40. Nana paid that also. Again after a while, Nana was called by SAI and asked to pay Rs 40. Nana at that time had Rs 20 only which he paid and by the time he sent for the reserve fund at Kopergaon. SHRI SAI here was geting restless as HE wanted cash

and the full amount immediately. Nana's pride was humbled. He, who taught others about his ways of cash management himself got caught on the wrong foot. In fact , SHRI SAI never needed any money but HE , thru ths example taught that none could ever give what SAI wanted and thus its nothing but false pride which HE wanted to erase.
